The front stereo speakers have been moved to the top and bottom edge of the front panel - like the Z2 speakers placement. Say hello to the new capless micro-USB port, which the capless design doesn't affect the phone's IP65/68 dust and waterproof ability. In addition, the magnetic charging pins has been removed.

The thickness of the device has been reduced (it's now 6.9 mm thick, compared to Z3's 7.3 mm) and lead to a decrease in battery capacity from 3,100 mAh to 2,930 mAh. And yet, Sony still promising a 2-days battery life.
